Payroll System Automation


Client:

§  Recruitment, Outsourcing and HR Solutions Company.

    Challenges:

§  Customer wanted a force.com application for the following  requirements like:

§  They wanted to keep track  of  payroll data and its status.
    
   The Solution:

§  We worked as a technology partner to build the custom force.com application.  The system comprised of following features:

§  The Payrolls to be tracked on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis.

§  The dates that monthly and fortnightly payroll batch jobs were due.

§  The day of the week (and time) that weekly payrolls were due.

§  An inbound Salesforce email service was created to accept emails from the staff responsible for payrolls. Once an email is received from an authorized email address, the subject is used to identify the payroll being confirmed; a payroll batch job record is created for that payroll; an email is sent to a manager responsible for that payroll and a chatter post is added to the chatter feed for the payroll so managers following it are informed.

   Benefits:

§  Real-time status of the many payroll batch jobs that need to be run and spot potential red light issues.


§  Leveraged the capabilities of Chatter and Dashboards to provide the team with the up to the minute status of the Payrolls.
